You may send pages to your Active911 account using SNPP if you wish. The settings are as follows:
- Server
- snpp.active911.com
- Port
- 444
- Password
- (none)
- Pager ID
- The part of your Alert Email before the @ sign. For example, [email protected] (this is only an example), the ID would be 1234-abCdeAF.
You may also need the following:
- SNPP version
- 2
- Timeout
- 20 seconds
If you are getting error responses, please use the full pager ID and set your timeout to a fairly high value. This is because we perform paging in real time; if your SNPP implementation times out after a few seconds, it will never receive a 250 “OK” code from our servers.
