THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION LOCATED IN PHILOMATH, OR
First responder experience (firefighter, EMT, police) or having used Active911 is a plus.
• Spend 75% of available time on development tickets.
• Strong logical thinking and reasoning ability.

• Maintain awareness of the whole system of the product.
• Ability to predict the effects of proposed modifications.
• Passion for bringing ideas to life and solving real problems.
• Add value to our products by writing and editing code.

• Complete high–priority tickets effectively and quickly.
• Evaluate tickets for ability to complete and time to complete.
• Owns tickets they are assigned to until they are merged, frequently following up on blocked
tickets.
• Collaborate with all members of the product team to arrive at innovative outcomes that solve
product needs.
• Maintain documentation of the product, including domain model and API interface.
• Ensures the quality of code changes by writing appropriate tests for new code as well as
thoroughly manually validating their own work.
• Review code as required.
• Spend some time “on–call” and respond to production emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:
• College degree or comparable work experience
• 3+ years of experience
• Portfolio of work in a broad range of programming languages, databases, and various
technologies.
• Full stack development experience.
• Knowledge of MySQL; Cassandra a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, Git, and Linux a plus.
• Willingness to be “on–call”.

Salary Range: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
Reports to: Customer Support Manager

- Average Weekly Inbound Calls over 6 months ≥ 50
- Average Weekly Outbound Calls over 6 months ≥ 30

- Average Weekly Total Client Contact over 6 months ≥ 440
- Average Weekly Genome Commits over 6 months ≥ 7
- Average Weekly SLA Breaches over 6 months ≤ 6
- Average Weekly Promoters over 6 months ≥ 2.5
Competencies:
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Professional email composure, formatting, and grammar
- Maintain a pleasant demeanor on the phones at all times
- Detailed ticket documentation and accurate classification
- Accurate and concise defect escalations
- Proficient with the Support Technology Stack
- Polymerase, Wiz, phpMyAdmin, etc.
- Proficient with Abot
- Proficient with Regular Expression and Parsing
- Proficient with Active911 database
- Proficient with ActiveAlert product
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build relationships with clients
- Understand clients needs, and support them
- Get customer needs met
- Able to handle most issues, escalates to CSR2 and HCM when appropriate
- Work with the Sales Department to help onboard new clients
- Other duties as assigned
