New Overlay, New Feature Options

The mission behind ActiveComms has remained the same. We want to give your agency more options to increase its communication range and capabilities. As we’ve grown and gotten feedback, we’ve continued to drive that mission forward with an overlay redesign that allows room for new features and ways to stay informed.

  • Better insights as to your connection status
  • More space to allow you to ensure you’re communicating effectively
  • Easier access to see who’s able to chat and quicker ability to mute
  • New features are built straight into the overlay, allowing for easier use

New Feature

Quick Playback

Quick Playback lets you replay the last 90 seconds of audio with a single tap. The audio stays on your device, so you can review missed details without tying up the channel or asking someone to repeat themselves.

New Feature

Conditional Unmuting

Alert-based Unmuting listens for Active911 alerts and automatically opens the audio channel when one comes in. It acts as a backup to your station tones, making sure you hear the call, even if your primary tone system misses it.
