How to upload Sales Tax Exemption Certificate

  1. Go to Active911.com and click Login in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Once logged in, click the Agency tab on the left navigation panel.
  3. Scroll down to titled “Tax Exemption Status” and click Upload Certificate.
  4. A new window will pop up titledUpload Certificate”.
    1. Click Upload Document.
      1. Here, you can select your Tax Exempt Certificate PDF or JPG.
    2. Click the Start Date section.
      1. A calendar will pop up on the screen, allowing you to select the exact start date.
    3. Click the Expiration Date section.
      1. A calendar will pop up on the screen to allow you to select the expiration date.
        1. If it is a permanent exemption certificate, please enter the year 2099.
    4. Click Reason and select a reason from the dropdown menu.
    5. Click Submit.
