Sending call data to Active911 using SNPP

  • You may send pages to your Active911 account using SNPP if you wish. The settings are as follows:
    • Server
      • snpp.active911.com
    • Port
      • 444
    • Password
      • (none)
    • Pager ID
      • the part of your Alert Email before the @ sign. For said email,[email protected] (only an example) the ID would be 1234-abCdeAF.
  • You may also need the following:
    • SNPP version
      • 2
    • Timeout
      • 20 seconds
  • If you are getting error responses, please make sure that you are using the full pager ID and that your timeout is set to a fairly high value. This is because we actually perform paging in real time; if your SNPP implementation times out after a few seconds, it will never receive a 250 “OK” code from our servers.
